Introducing TRASH DAY — Never Miss a Pickup

I kept missing trash day. Different days for trash and recycling, alternate weeks for the blue bin—it was easy to lose track. I wanted one place to see what’s due and when, and a nudge so I’d actually put the bins out. So I built TRASH DAY: an iOS app that gives you reminders and your full pickup schedule at a glance.

What it does

TRASH DAY is built around a few ideas: set your address once, see your schedule forever, and get reminded when it matters—no account required.

  • Smart reminders – You choose when to get notified (e.g. the night before or morning of). Reminders are location-aware and adapt to your schedule so you don’t forget collection day.
  • Custom schedules – It’s tailored to how your area works: different days for trash and recycling, alternate-week pickups, and any pattern your provider uses.
  • Visual tracking – At a glance you see which bins need to go to the curb, with clear indicators so you’re not guessing.
  • No account – Enter your address and preferences on device. No sign-up, no email, no data in the cloud.
  • One-time purchase – Pay once on the App Store. No subscription—you own it.

Why an app?

I wanted something that lived on my phone where I already check the time and notifications. Push reminders are the right place for “trash is tomorrow”—you see it when you need it, and the app keeps your full schedule if you want to look ahead. The website whenistrashday.com is the landing page and demo; the app is where the reminders and schedule live day to day.

Try it

TRASH DAY is on the App Store (coming soon). You can see the demo, features, and FAQ at whenistrashday.com. If you’re tired of missing the curb, set your address once and let the app handle the rest.
